Application Process

Step 1: Get a Quote

Contact one of our approved installers for a quote and submit to the lender

Step 2: Apply

Submit your application by filling in the credit application and submit all requested supporting documents. These include: 

For Individuals:

  1. Completed credit application 

  2. 3 months latest bank statements (6 months if commission earner)

  3. 3 months pay-slips (6 months if commission earner)

  4. Copy of ID

  5. Proof of address

For Businesses:

  1. Completed credit application 

  2. Latest annual financial statements (AFS) – audited and signed

  3. Recent management accounts if AFS are in excess of 6 months from date of issue

  4. 3 months bank statements

Step 3: Sign The Rental Agreement

The next step is signing the master rental agreement where you will agree upon the payment terms, contract length etc.

Step 4: Installation

Your solar power system will be installed according to what equipment and costs were agreed upon in the rental agreement. Once installed and the lender has checked you are happy with the installation, they will request a compliance certificate from the installer and proceed to pay for the installation upon receipt. 

You will be notified when the rental period is coming to an end. You can choose to purchase the equipment by paying an additional month’s rental plus 10% of the total installation. Then the system is owned by you. If you do not want to purchase the solar power system, you can notify the lender and they will collect the equipment from your property. 

You are eligible to settle your account after 8 months. You can also transfer ownership at anytime during the rental contract.
